About The Unusualist
The Unusualist has spent almost twenty years taking his odd and very funny magical puzzles around the world. He gets booked for business conferences, product launches, exclusive events and private parties.
Clients have included international royalty and well-known personalities. On the corporate side there's Lloyds, Xerox, Standard Life and Cunard.
He's studied the conjurors and eccentrics of the seventeenth and eighteenth centuries, and he's built up a collection of rare antique books about them (instead of any meaningful friendships, apparently). So the act has an elegant, old-fashioned mystery to it, plus some very quick, sharp humour.
You might've seen him on BBC1, ITV, Living TV or Channel 4, and he had his own special on The Discovery Channel. He's a member of Hollywood's Academy of Magical Arts and of The Magic Circle in London, which gave him a Silver Star for the quality of his performance.
His one-man show, Origins of Wonder, has sold out at The Ned hotel in London.
